Benefit horse show at Ogle County Fair

Posted

OREGON – The Benefit Horse Show is fast approaching.
Aug. 6 will be here before you know it. Put this date on your calendar and come join us in for a fantastic show during the Ogle County Fair, 1440 N. Limekiln Rd., Oregon. All profits will go toward building a horse barn at the Ogle County Fairgrounds.
A horse barn at the fairgrounds will allow greater use of the horse arena throughout the year and bring new events to our area. Speed events, working western, barrel racing, ranch riding, trail, competitive trail and cutting are on the rise in popularity. Also, draft horse shows, with their famous hitch classes.
Some of these events are difficult to include in the one day halter/performance shows. A horse barn would facilitate multiple day shows and thus bring in additional revenue to our local businesses.
The show will feature halter, performance, speed and therapeutic classes. This is a payback show with added money for each class. Thanks to our awesome sponsors. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
