District seeks park input

OREGON – The Oregon Park District would like the public’s input in developing an updated Master Plan for Park West.

The goal of the Master Plan is to update Park West amenities to enhance future use. Community input will help to guide improvements that will complement existing features and provide fun and new experiences for the community.

There are two avenues the public can provide input.

An online survey with 15 questions is available at https://ecolter.wixsite.com/parkwestmasterplan

The survey is open through October 25. Anyone that provides input with the survey will be entered to win an annual pass to Nash Recreation Center.

The public is also invited to an open house/meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 6:30-8 p.m. to review the Oregon Park District’s Park West Master Plan.

Representatives from Hitchcock Design and Oregon Park District will be on hand to solicit community input.

The meeting will take place at Nash Recreation Center, 304 S. Fifth Street, Oregon. Residents are invited to attend the open house anytime between 6:30-8 p.m. RSVP is not required but is recommended and can be done by phone 815-732-3101 or email erin@oregonpark.org.
