BYRON – James N. Keehn, 71, of Byron, formerly of the Brodhead, Wis., area, passed away on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at Crimson Pointe Senior Living, Rockford. He was born on July 21, 1946 in Stoughton, Wis., the son of Orrin and Charlene (Gempler) Keehn.
He married Judity Friemuth on July 7, 1989. She passed away on Feb. 25, 2016.
Jim was a truck driver, working for USF Holland for 34 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local 325. He enjoyed traveling, antique autos, fishing, mechanical items, and spoiling his dog Nova.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Kelly (John) Allen, Byron; stepson, Daniel G. McGee, Madison, Wis.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (James) Krueger, Mason City, Ill.; and a brother, Jerry (April) Roenneburg, Janesville, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a brother, Richard.
