OREGON – JoAnn Spratt, 85, of Oregon, passed peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at Pinecrest Terrace Nursing Home in Mount Morris with her family at her side. Born Aug. 11, 1932 in Dixon, the daughter of Lawrence and Adeline (Blackburn) Cramer.

She was well known in the Oregon area for her talents in home day care. JoAnn enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing cards, cooking, keeping a clean house, and raising her seven daughters. JoAnn married her soul mate Robert Spratt on March 20, 1976, who has been by her side throughout her illness.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; seven daughters: Lora (Richard) Stone, Debbie (Denny) Kelly, Lynn (Dave) Shank, Dory (Joe) Palmer, Carol Wig, Jo (Mike) Merrill and Jane (Ron) Griswold; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a brother, Larry (Karen) Cramer. Predeceased by her parents and 2 sisters, Mary Jane (Harry) Mueller and Esther (George) Remour.

The family would like to thank the Pinecrest Terrace staff for the wonderful care given during Joann’s stay.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Rodney Caldwell, Pinecrest Community Chaplain, officiated. Burial in Daysville Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
