MONROE CENTER – Justin Earl Clubb, 35, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. Justin was born Nov. 21, 1981 to Melvin and Gayla (Clark) Clubb in Freeport.
He graduated from Stillman Valley High School in 2000, where he was a three time wrestling champion. He loved camping and canoeing with his nephews and playing with his nieces. Justin loved his dog, Jack, like his own child and they went everywhere together. He worked as a laborer in construction for many different places.
Justin is survived by his parents, Melvin and Gayla Clubb of Monroe Center; four siblings: Tracy (Kevin Kurth) Clubb of Freeport, Jeffrey (Tammy) Clubb of Mt. Carroll, Denia (Shawn) Fleming, and Marlaina (Pete) Walker both of Rockford; grandmother, Caroline Kessen of Rochelle; six nephews, five nieces, one great nephew, one great niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Justin is preceded in death by grandparents: David Kessen, Doris Carter, Betty Rager, and Melvin Rager Sr.
The visitation was from 5-8 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home, 400 N. 6th St., Rochelle. The funeral was at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 17 at the funeral home with Father John Evans officiating. Justin generously helped many other families by being an organ donor. Cremation rites were be accorded after the funeral service.
