Oregon High School Madrigal Dinner at Stronghold in December

OREGON – Oregon High School Madrigals invite all to attend their annual Madrigal Dinners.
Come to one or both performances scheduled for Friday, Dec.8, and Saturday, Dec. 9, beginning at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The Madrigal dinner will be held at Brubaker Center at Stronghold Camp and Retreat Center: 1922 Illinois Rt. 2 N, Oregon.
The evening fun will include performances by the OHS Madrigal Singers, dressed in traditional renaissance attire, a brass quintet, and a recorder choir. This year’s theme is magic. Dinner will be served by Stronghold’s talented kitchen staff under the management of chef Teri Faulkner. This year’s dinner is Stronghold’s popular Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. The three-course meal also includes a salad, dinner rolls, mixed vegetables, brownie, and our homemade wassail. Coffee will also be available upon request.
Cost to attend is $25 per person which includes dinner and the performance. Payment is collected at the door. Checks can be made payable to Oregon High School Choir. To reserve your seat, please call email ksheridan@ocusd.net or call 815-830-4774. Please state your name and how many are attending. The deadline for reservations is Monday Nov. 27. When placing your reservation please specify whether any guest will require wheelchair seating and/or parking. Funds generated by the dinner will be used to offset the costs of the dinner.
