OREGON – In honor of our great friend and true supporter of everything KB sponsored, this year’s trail hike will be done in memory of Angie Daub-Bergstrom.
The Angie Daub-Bergstrom Memorial Trail Hike will be held at the White Pines Ranch in Oregon Illinois during the 6thAnnual KB Tough Run Event on Saturday, June 24. Angie’s favorite color was orange so we are encouraging everyone to wear orange to the event this year.
Online registration remains open through June 23 at www.KBToughRun.com and event day walk in registrations are appreciated too. Registration/check in will open at 9 a.m. followed by the 10 a.m. Kid Sprint start and 10:30 a.m. KB Tough Run and Angie Daub-Bergstrom Memorial Trail Hike start. Questions about the race/hike? Contact Josh Roos at 815-440-5180 or by email to info@KBToughRun.com.
While the KB Tough Run, Trail Hike and Kid Sprint continue to be the featured events at the fundraiser a Kid Zone game area, Horsey Bingo, Prize Wheel, an updated photo booth and raffles add to the fun of this family friendly day. Returning again in 2017 are the Ogle County Pork Producers with their famous pork chop sandwiches for lunch and Prairie Street Brewing Company bringing their craft beer from Rockford.
The KB Tough Run is the major fundraising event for The KB Fund. This fund has been established to support those in our community that are burdened by the expenses a medical crisis can present. To learn more about the fund or the event visit our website, www.KBToughRun.com.
