FORRESTON — Letrese Buisker, daughter of Erich and Jannelle Buisker, signed a letter of intent to participate on the track team at Eastern Illinois University.
Letrese participated in track for four years at Forreston High School. She earned All-Conference track honors in 2022 and 2023. Letrese qualified for state her freshman year in high jump, sophomore year in high jump, 100 and 300-meter hurdles and high jump and 300-meter hurdles her junior year.
She received two state final medals, one in 2022 for placing sixth in high jump and one in 2023 for placing fifth in high jump. The administration, coaches and student-athletes of Forreston Junior/Senior High School congratulate Letrese and wish her the best in a successful academic and athletic career at Eastern Illinois University.
