Dear editor,

On March 8-9, 2024 at 7:00 PM, Polo Community High School will present their spring production The Play That Goes Wrong. If you have been looking for something that will make you laugh this play is for you! From start to finish there’s always something going wrong… or did it?

This play is a silly farce that invites you to the opening night of the Cornley Drama Society’s production of The Murder at Haversham Manor. It is a classic who done it in the style of Sherlock Holmes, however, it doesn’t take long before the play becomes more like Monty Python. Set in the 1920s, this show has a little of everything mystery, plot twists, actors who get mixed up, set pieces that don’t work, a dog-actor that goes missing, and laughs galore. In the end the Cornley Drama Society manages to make it to the through their play and take their final curtain call. Part mystery, part comedy, part audience participation, and a lot of fun for everyone — this play is for you.

Please join us for the PCHS Spring Production March 8-9 at 7 p.m. in the high school “gymnatorium.” Tickets prices are $5 for adults, $3 for students, children, and senior citizens. All tickets are reserved and tickets will be available at the door. Ticket reservations may be made by calling the high school office at 815-946-3314. So come and tickle your funny bone, lighten your load, and be prepared to laugh till you cry. You don’t want to miss it!
