Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Dec. 8-11, 2023

OREGON — On Dec. 8 at approximately 9:10 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 88 at mile marker 76 on a blue Honda Pilot. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Marlon Exequiel Matute-Martinez, 24, of Mason City, Iowa for no driver’s license. Matute-Martinez was taken into custody without incident and released on a notice to appear. Matute-Martinez was additionally cited for improper turn signal.

On Dec. 10 at approximately 10:34 a.m. deputies responded to 104 3rd St. at the Leaf River Methodist Church in reference to a battery. After investigation, deputies placed Silvia Rogers, 56, of Leaf River under arrest for battery.  Rogers was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released on notice to appear with a future court date.

On Dec. 10 at approximately 1:27 p.m. deputies responded to 115 Main St. in Leaf River in reference to a criminal damage to property complaint.  After investigation, deputies placed Silvia Rogers, 56, of Leaf River under arrest for criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to property. Rogers was again taken to the Ogle County Jail for the second time in the same day for a crime against the same victim and was held pending a court appearance in front of a judge.  All suspects are presumed innocent.

On Dec. 11 at 10:36 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Mulford Road and East Illinois Route 38. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Anna Allison, 32, of DeKalb, for driving while license suspended. Allison was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended registration. Allison was released with a notice to appear.

All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
