OREGON — The Autumn on Parade committee in Oregon recently presented donations and thanks for support of the annual festival.

Two checks were presented to Habitat for Humanity and the Maggie & Amos Foundation. A thank you gift was also given to longtime volunteer Lisa Schultz.

“The Autumn on Parade team has always recognized the importance of our many local support services,” an AOP press release said. :We value their contribution. What they do behind the scenes is the backbone of this successful annual family event."

Three checks were also presented to the Oregon Fire Protection District, City of Oregon, and the Oregon Park District.

"We are proud of our community,” a press release said. “Each of these entities goes above and beyond in a friendly, flexible, professional and timely fashion. Their efforts provide a safe, comfortable, inviting atmosphere for all of our citizens and visitors throughout the festival weekend."
