BYRON – Byron Bank is pleased to announce that Brent Baker has been named the bank's next President, effective Jan. 3.
Baker has been with Byron Bank for 14 years. He will continue to serve on the Board of Directors.
Baker has been an integral part of our commercial and mortgage lending areas for the past ten years. His experience and expertise will help Byron Bank continue to grow.
Baker most recently held the position of Executive Vice President. His tenure at Byron Bank began in 2003. As a former branch manager at our Poplar Grove location, Baker is familiar with all aspects of banking relationships. He has been active with the Byron Chamber of Commerce, Byron Fest Steering Committee, St. Mary’s Finance Council, and the Byron Boosters.
Former President, Mike Kohlstedt, has taken a new role as Senior Vice President - Commercial Loans with Byron Bank.
