DAVIS JUNCTION – Davis Junction - Bessie “Wanda” Goble, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, age 86, passed away on Tuesday Oct. 2, 2018 at Pinecrest Manor. She was born in Otwell, Ark., on Jan. 8, 1932 to James and Velma (McDaniel) Hicks.

She married Guy E. Goble in Osceola, Ark., on Aug. 12, 1949. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2002. Wanda was an avid gardener and reader. She spent her life as a homemaker and always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Mary) Goble of Oregon, and Connie Owen of Pineville, Mo.; former daughter-in-law, Barb Rosendahl, grandchildren, Dawn (Bill) Bearrows, Sheila (Ricky) Goble, Matthew Beardin, April (Eric) Meyer, Chrystal (Adam) Goble, Amber (Derrick) Lau, Justin (Amanda) Goble, Robert Hitchcock, Brittany (Nathan) Olson, Kaylee Rosendahl, and Sienna Rosendahl; 19 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Bill and Larry, son-in-law Wayne Owen, daughter-in-law Candy Goble, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home, Stillman Valley with Pastor Randy Caldwell officiating. Burial in Monroe Center Cemetery.
