Byron Police arrested Mario Suarez, 37 of Byron for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Suarez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Aug. 23
Kandace Wadlington, 34 of Chicago, was issued a citation for Speeding 56 mph in a 30 mph Zone.
Shykerah Taylor, 23 of Rockford, was issued citations for No Valid Driver’s License, Speeding 49 mph in a 30 mph Zone, and Failure to Properly Secure Child Under Age 3 in Appropriate Child Restraint System.
Aug. 27
Byron Police arrested Aralberto Martinez, 56 of Byron, for Driving When License is Revoked. Martinez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Sept. 11
Byron Police arrested Patrick Larson, 21 of Rochelle, for Aggravated Fleeing to Elude a Peace Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving While License is Revoked, and on 3 Ogle County warrants. Larson was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond. Larson was also issued citations for Disobeying a Stop Sign, No Insurance, and Reckless Driving.

Jeremy Degroot, 31 of Maryville, Tennessee, was issued a citation for Suspended Registration.

Dakota Dunkin, 23 of Rockford, was issued a citation for Driving While License is Suspended.

Lloyd Groth, 22 of Cherry Valley, was issued a citation for Speeding 53 mph in a 30 mph Zone.

Shea Bierman, 40 of Byron, was issued citations for No Proof of Insurance and Failure to Give Information After Striking Unattended Vehicle.

Heather Gabrys,28 of Steward, was issued a citation for Speeding 54 mph in a 35 mph Zone.
Sept. 21
Carson Wilsie, age 19 of Byron, was issued a citation for Speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph Zone.
Byron Police investigated an accident with no injuries that occurred at the intersection of Blackhawk and Colfax. Involved were Scott Keilin, 53 of Oregon, and Cathy Meader, 68 of Oregon. Keilin was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

Christine Gilbaugh, 50 of Freeport, was issued a citation for Driving While License is Suspended.

Asha Cartledge, 25 of Chicago, was issued a citation for Driving While License is Suspended.
Jacob Taylor, 45 of Rockford, was issued a citation for Driving While License is Suspended.
Joseph Saviano, 19 of Byron, was issued a citation for Speeding 57 mph in a 35 mph Zone.
