MOUNT MORRIS –Cherrie M. Cheever, 61, lifelong area resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2018 in her home in Mount Morris. Born June 1, 1957 in Dixon, the daughter of Elwood and Maxine (Gilbert) Sarver.

Married to Marvin L. Cheever, Jr. in 1983 in Oregon. Cherrie was a 1975 graduate of Oregon High School and worked at Quebecor in Mount Morris for 13 years. She was a member of East Oregon Church of God and enjoyed crafting and crocheting.

Survived by her husband, Marvin of Mount Morris; son, Shane Michael (Sara) Cheever of Oregon and Marvin Leroy (Nancy Limond) Cheever III of Mount Morris; grandchildren: Jasmyn Cheever, Devon Judkins, Taylor Judkins, Brody Rey Cheever, Samantha Limond and Samuel Limond; brothers: Elwood Sarver, Jr. of Portage, Wis., Lonnie Sarver, Sr. of Mount Morris, Timothy Haas of Polo and Kim Sarver of Mount Morris; and sisters, Valerie Ludwig and Melissa Duncan, both of Haldane.

Predeceased by her parents; infant brother, David Sarver; brother, Robert Gilbert; and sister, Pansy Sarver.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 4 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon with Pastor John Guthrie of East Oregon Church of God officiating. Burial in Daysville Cemetery, Oregon. Visitation Sunday 3-5 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
