OREGON — Christine Mary West (nee Warner), 64, of Oregon, Illinois, passed away on November 12, 2023, in Dixon, Illinois. She was born on July 18, 1959, in Dixon, Illinois, to the late Donald Russell Warner and Patricia Warner.

Christine was a compassionate individual who had a servant heart. She dedicated her life to helping those in need and had a deep love for gardening and feeding wildlife.

Christine is survived by her beloved son, Adam L. West, her mother Patricia Warner of Oregon, Illinois, her sister Diane Grover (John Galiher) of Galesburg, Illinois, and her brothers Donald Warner (Paula) of Oregon, Illinois, James Warner (Stacey) of Troy, South Carolina, and David Warner (Kristy) of Oregon, Illinois. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Edward Young, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her father, Donald Russell Warner, as well as both her maternal and fraternal grandparents.

She attended Oregon schools and furthered her education at Sauk Valley Community College.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later time to honor Christine's life. The funeral home assisting with the arrangements is Chapel Hill located in Dixon, Illinois.

Christine Mary West will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her kind and compassionate spirit continue to inspire us all.
