MOUNT MORRIS – David Michael Stahl, age 60, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, in KSB Hospital, Dixon. David was born March 22, 1959 in Dixon, the son of Harry M. and Dorothy (Kielsmeier) Stahl.
David graduated from Mount Morris High School Class of 1977. He worked as a carpenter for 36 years in Florida. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, all sports, especially the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.
David is survived by his daughter: Shawna (John Rizzo) Stahl, Bonita Springs, Fla.; grandchildren: Jorden and Mason Rizzo, Bonita Springs, Fla.; mother: Dorothy Stahl, Mount Morris; brother: Danny Stahl, Forreston; sisters: Ruth Cross, Rockford, and Rhonda Bachman, Rockford; nephew: Warren (Kelley) Stahl; nieces: Danielle (Joe) Langan and Leah (Josh) Powell; four great nephews; and two great nieces.
David is preceded in death by his father: Harry Stahl.
Per David’s request cremation services have been accorded with Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mount Morris.
