MOUNT MORRIS – David L. Rahn Junior High Theater Group will present Bryan Starchman’s “Holiday Celebrities: Criminal Justice” on Thursday Feb. 28, Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.

“Holiday Celebrities: Criminal Justice” depicts our favorite holiday celebrities such as Santa Claus, a Thanksgiving Turkey, and the Easter Bunny living among us. Imagine how their “normal” actions might be considered breaking the law. Think about it. The tooth fairy sneaks into children’s rooms at night, Santa has no concept of how to handle money, the Easter Bunny gets caught breaking and entering, a leprechaun gets deported, and the Thanksgiving turkey dips out of the farm in a stolen vehicle and runs for the border.
These and other zany happenings will make you chuckle as our DLR actors unfold the hilarity before your very eyes.
This year’s play is directed by three Oregon High School Students: Jed Bothe, Isabella Olalde, and McKenna Tremble and is advised by Ranae Leamanczyk.
