BYRON – Donna Delores Wills, age 95, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 at Generations at Neighbors in Byron. She was born Feb. 6, 1922 in Naper, Neb., the daughter of Robert and Bessie (Briggs) Black. 

She graduated from Butte, Neb., High School in 1939 and attended Wayne State Teacher’s Collage. She married Kenneth “Bob” Wills on Nov. 22, 1944 in Davis Junction. He preceded her in 1988. Donna worked at Rockford Products for several years. She formerly attended the Holcomb Presbyterian Church and the Congregational Christian Church. She was a member of the Byron area Senior’s and also enjoyed playing cards with her 500 card club.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, brother David, and sister Dorothy. 

She is survived by her daughter Cyndy (Rodney) Hayenga of Kings, son Kenneth (Joyce) Wills of Stillman Valley, sister Darlene Smith of Oregon, 5 grandchildren: Tricia Mueller, Dana (Joe) Meyers, Aimee (J.R.) McBride, Julie (Dan) Stier, and Lesly Wills, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. 

Private services will be held in her memory. Her family would like to thank the Generations at Neighbor’s especially Connie Earley and the Serenity Hospice and Home for their special care of Donna. A memorial fund is established for the Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon.
