OREGON – The Oregon Park District is pleased to announce E.D. Etnyre & Co. as the Oregon Park District Presenting Sponsor for 2021.

In 2019, E.D. Etnyre & Co. partnered with the Oregon Park District to become their presenting sponsor. This sponsorship elevated the communities desire for new and additional free programming and Etnyre is excited to continue.

Through the sponsorship, E.D. Etnyre & Co. has funded Art in the Park, Pop Up and Play in the Park, pool events, Pumpkins in the Park, Easter events, Inclusion events, Stem classes, after school programs and many more new programs to be offered this summer.

“The Oregon Park District is always looking for ways to provide opportunities for the community,” said Erin Folk, Executive Director. “In the summer of 2018, we began offering several free programs in our parks. After the success of these programs we began looking for a local business that would partner to expand upon these offerings to the community. E.D. Etnyre & Co. joined us in 2019 and we have continued to expand offerings for the community.”

“E.D. Etnyre & Co. is a family business rooted in the Oregon community. Their philosophies and commitment to the community made them a perfect fit as our Presenting Sponsor.  We were fortunate with all the restrictions in place due to COVID-19, E.D. Etnyre and Co. entrusted us to continue to offer programming with social distancing guidelines and registration guidelines in place. The community adapted and we are excited with restrictions lifted to offer a full slate of activities this summer!”

E.D. Etnyre & Co. has been a community staple for over 120 years. Established in 1898, Etnyre continues to lead the industry with its legendary commitment to the market. Their products combine more than 100 years of experience with the latest technological advancements providing customers with top performance and reliability.

“Oregon is an amazing community rich with great service organizations and the Oregon Park District is among the very best,” said Sr. Director of IT & Strategy, Justin Nelson. “As Etnyre explores how to continue doing well by doing good in the world around us, especially where we can help enrich the lives of our future generations, it’s obvious to me that this partnership is a perfect reflection of a shared commitment to that end and we’re delighted to be in such good company.”
