OREGON – Evelyn L. Arbogast, 86, lifelong Oregon resident, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 in her home. Born March 13, 1932 in Oregon, the daughter of Charles and Flossie (Hoffman) Mitchell.
Married to Ronald Arbogast Jan. 18, 1952 in Las Vegas, N.V. Evelyn attended Oregon schools and was employed at Quality Metal Finishing in Byron for 47 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and going to the casinos and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by her husband, Ron Arbogast of Oregon; son, Gary (Pam) Arbogast of Oregon; grandson, Brent (Iris) Arbogast of Lexington, S.C;. step grandson, Rich (Staci) Simmons of Pinellas Park, Fla.; great grandchildren: Julian, Drake, Zachary, Aiden, Tyler, Amber and Brian; and great great grandsons, Sebastian and Brayden; brother, Ronald (Brenda) Mitchell of Dixon; sister, Sharon (Gary) Miller of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; brother, Carl Mitchell; and sister, Leona Fredericks.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Willie Little, Serenity Hospice chaplain, officiated. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Oregon. The family extends special thanks to Serenity Hospice for their special care for Evelyn.
