Frank B. Morgan

OREGON – Frank B. Morgan, age 96, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at The Meadows of Franklin Grove Assisted Living in Franklin Grove. He was born Nov. 27, 1922 in Fisk, Mo., the son of Byrd Elvis and Daisy Mae (Ruble) Morgan. 

He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1942 - 1946 during WW II. He was married 48 years to Ann Montgomery getting married in December of 1946. Frank worked for many years in manufacturing at Kysor in Byron, and Century Tool in Cherry Valley. 

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Ann, his daughter Sue Jacobs, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, and a grandson Jason D. Stauffer. 

He is survived by his 2 daughters; Brenda Morgan Stauffer of Braselton, Ga., and Diane (Larry) Seabold of Byron, son-in-law Rev. Marvin Jacobs of Oregon, sister Freda Lund, brother Truman Morgan, He was a dearly beloved grandfather and great grandfather to 7 grandchildren; Justin (Melissa) Stauffer, Chad Seabold, Jamie (April) Seabold, Lindsey (Kevin) Woerner, Adam (Laurie) Jacobs, Lucas Jacobs, and Cheryl Stauffer, Great Grandchildren; Trey, Tyler, Anna, Colin, Brayden, Reily, Beckett, Mason, Isaac, Elijah, Hannah, and Jonah, and several nieces and nephews. 

A private family service will be held at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home in Oregon, IL with the Rev. Marvin Jacobs officiating. Private burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery near Oregon.
