OREGON – All dog lovers and their “best friends” are invited to join the Oregon Park District on Wednesday, Sept. 11 for the annual Wiggly Wag & Walk Event at Wiggly Field Dog Park between 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of fun with your dog and enjoy the Hound Hike. For your convenience, register early for the Hound Hike at Nash Recreation Center. Cost is $3/dog if registered by September 1 and $5/dog at the event.
Each of the participating pooches will receive a goodie bag with a bandanna, treats and more. If you register on site, you must use credit/debit card. Walk the 2-mile designated course (or take a short cut) and play games and receive treats along the route.
Bring your cash/check for food (a hot dog of course) and to purchase from the variety of pet vendors. Come and gather information about rescue, boarding, grooming, portraiture, and more. Pick up some homemade treats, toys, collars and other fun dog items. You can watch K-9 officers in action, retrieving, agility, and obedience demonstrations.
We hope to see all of you and your playful pooches at Wiggly Field. Be sure to have your dog on a leash and under control at all times and be sure that they have their current rabies tag on them. We are PAWSitive you will have a good time!
