BYRON – Holcomb Bank is pleased to announce the opening of its fifth, full-service branch, located in Byron, at 504 W. Blackhawk Drive.

The state-of-the-art facility was built in less than a year by Schmeling Construction Company. It has five private offices and multiple conference rooms. Lobby hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-noon.

“After 125 years of community banking in northern Illinois, we felt the timing was right for an expansion,” said President and CEO, Perry W. Byers. “We are thrilled to be in Byron and are thankful to have the support of the community.”

The branch will be managed by Arlett Bonne, who was previously a branch manager at the New Milford location. As primary lenders at the new facility, Kris DeVries, Mike Hahn and Ray McCracken are available to assist customers will all commercial and agricultural banking needs. Staff can help customers with opening accounts, managing transactions and applying for loans.

“We may be new to the neighborhood, but our bankers are local,” Bonne said. “Many of our team members grew up in this community, so it’s almost effortless for us to provide our customers with a personal banking experience each time they visit.”

To celebrate the opening, special offers are available including a new, competitive CD rate and discounted closing costs on mortgages. In addition, members of the community are welcome to stop in and participate in a grand opening raffle.
