Michael W. Frerichs, Illinois state treasurer, visited with representatives from the Village of Progress & Ogle County Educational Cooperative to promote IL ABLE Accounts. He toured the Village Bakery and met with employees. IL ABLE Accounts make it possible for eligible people with disabilities to save and invest for expenses related to living with a disability without losing, or losing access to, federal means-tested benefits such as SSI, SSDI and Medicaid.
