Learn to play the guitar

OREGON – The Oregon Park District has teamed up with Aireloom Music Studio to bring a new program geared towards adults.

Adult Beginner Guitar is for age 14 years and and up.

Have you always wanted to learn to play? Here's your chance to begin learning.

Students can bring their own guitar or borrow one from Aireloom Studio. Learn basic picking and strumming patterns with the knowledgeable instruction from Aireloom Music. Mary Ley will stay after class has concluded for any questions.

Class will be in a small group setting to allow you to learn quickly. Class will take place at Aireloom Music Studio, 122 S. Wesley Ave., Mt. Morris.

There are two class offerings. The first is on Thursday, April 4 from 6-7 p.m. with a registration deadline of March 28. The second class is on Thursday, April 11 from 6-7 p.m. with a registration deadline of April 4. The fee to attend is $43/Resident and $52/Non-Resident per class.
