ROCHElLE – Melanie Dawn Lutzow, 59, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Rochelle after battling cancer. She was born on April 20, 1959 in Rockford, at Rockford Memorial Hospital to Harvey and Joyce Brown.
Melanie graduated from Stillman Valley High School in 1977. She was a very sweet and sentimental person. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as grilling out, sitting outside and drinking coffee, and of course, her video games. She absolutely loved her family.
Melanie was survived by her brother David Brown and sister-in-law Susan, her three daughters; Trisha Hennigan, Tiffani Decia, and Traci Lutzow, her six grandchildren; Tionna Hennigan, Torri Hennigan, Christian Gutierrez, Jose Gutierrez, Isaac McGee, and Isaiah McGee, and one great grandchild; Tailynn Anthony.
Melanie was preceded in death by her parents Harvey Brown and Joyce Kivikko.
