At approximately 7:45 p.m., Ogle County Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West Mud Creek Road and North Rock Road. After investigation, Ogle County Deputies arrested Richard Gallagher, 36 of Oregon, for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer. Gallagher was also issued a citation for an equipment violation. Gallagher was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.

At 3:04 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Illinois Route 251 at Illinois Route 72 on a Brown GMC Envoy for a traffic violation.  After an investigation, Lucinda Perez, 30 of Rockford, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Perez was transported to the Ogle County Jail an held in lieu of bond.

Oct. 16

At 10:05 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Route 251 and Lindenwood Road.  After an investigation, Deputies arrested Jermaine Hollins, 32 of Rockford for No Valid Driver's License and an active warrant out of Ogle County.  Hollins was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where he is being held in lieu of bond.

Oct. 12

At approximately 11:39 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 12000 block of North Illinois Rt 26.  After further investigation Bobbi Heinze, 26 of German Valley, was placed under arrest for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While License Suspended, and Improper Use of Registration. Heinze was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Oct. 11

At approximately 1:40 a.m., Deputies responded to the 700 block of Golden Prairie Drive in reference to a disturbance. After investigation, Deputies arrested Michael Dixon, 21 of Davis Junction, for Domestic Battery. Dixon was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.

At 2:37 p.m. the OCSO and Lyn Scott Rock Fire Dept. were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at Hwy 251 and Rte 64 intersection. Investigation by deputies revealed that a Nissan SUV driven by Diana Lantz, 54, of Carol Stream was traveling west on Rte 64 and failed to stop for the stop sign at the Hwy 251 intersection. As a result the Nissan struck a Buick in the intersection which was traveling south on Hwy 251. The driver of the Buick, Samantha Metzger, 26, of Rochelle and her three passengers were transported by ambulance to the Rochelle Hospital. Lantz was also transported by ambulance to the Rochelle Hospital. All of the injuries appeared to be non life threatening. Lantz was cited for disobeying a stop sign. The ISP and Rochelle fire Dept. assisted at the scene. 

Oct. 10

At approximately 6:44 p.m., Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of West Pines Road and South Evergreen Road. After investigation, Deputies arrested Michael Poff, 49 of Polo, for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Poff was also issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Poff was transported to KSB Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Poff was given an I bond with a return court date later next month. Ogle County was assisted by Polo EMS along with Polo Police Department.

Oct. 9

At approximately midnight, Deputies responded to the 3000 block of North Brookville Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle. After investigation, Deputies arrested Michael Hensley, 31 of Mount Morris, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Hensley was also issued citations for Unlawful Parking and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Hensley was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.

Stefanny Altamirano, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Altamirano was able to post the $341 full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail.

Oct. 8

Jonathan Webb, 40 of Polo, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Webb was unable to post the $527 full cash bond and remains in custody at the Ogle County Jail. Webb will appear in court on 10/09/20 at 1 p.m.

At 10:41 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 13000 block of West Illinois Rt. 64 for an equipment violation. After an investigation, Christina Galvan, 29 of Sterling, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Equipment, Driving on a Suspended License, and an outstanding warrant. Also arrested was, Nancy Scudder, 30 of Rock Falls, for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Equipment, and an outstanding warrant.

Oct. 7

At approximately 11:45 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 11000 block of East Illinois Rte 38. After investigation, Deputies arrested Carolina Revuelta-Avalos, 45 of Rochelle, for Driving While License Suspended. Revuelta-Avalos was also issued a citation for an equipment violation. Revuelta-Avalos was issued and I bond and given a court date set for later next month.

At 7 p.m., Deputies responded to the 8000 block of North River Dr. for a disturbance call.  After a short investigation Deputies arrested Chase Clark, 27 of Byron, for Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery and Interfering with the Report of a Domestic Battery. Clark was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.  Deputies were assisted by the Illinois State Police.

Oct. 6

The following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrants:

Duane Leonard, 52, of Rockford for Failure to Appear warrant. Leonard had a bond of $1673.75 and went to court. The judge gave Leonard a $400 bond. Leonard posted bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Leonard will have to return for court on 11/30/20 at 9 am.

Kamal Abdallah, 46, of Dekalb for Failure to Appear. Abdallah had a bond of $8762.14 and went to court. The judge gave Abdallah a $100 bond and Abdallah posted bond. Abdallah was released from the Ogle County Jail and will return to court on 10/26/20 at 9 am.
