The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:
Amanda L Countryman, 28 of Compton was arrested for Failure to Appear. Countryman posted the $3,697 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
Michael Frey, 53 of Rock Falls was arrested for Failure to Appear. Frey posted $75 of the $2,790 Full Cash Bond and was released with a court date of 11-26-18 at 9 a.m.
Jason D Shrader, 38 of Freeport for Failure to Appear. Shrader posted $75 of the $386 Full cash Bond was released with a 11-26-18 9 a.m. court date.
Nov. 12
Raheem J Martin, 25 of Dixon was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Martin did not post the $475 Full Cash Bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Martin will appear in court on 11-13-18 at 1 p.m.
Michelle Smitherman, 34, of Mt. Morris was arrested for Operate Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Smitherman had a bond of $2000/10 percent. Smitherman could not post bond and will remain in the Ogle County Jail. Smitherman will return to court on 11/13/18 at 1 p.m.
Carli D Janecek, 21 of Mt Morris was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County Warrant for Failure to Appear. Janecek posted the $212.18 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
Nov. 9
At approximately 6:50 a.m. Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the 9500 block of North Kishwaukee Rd. A northbound vehicle being driven by Lisa Cortinas, 23 of Rockford, lost control and entered the north ditch. The vehicle then struck a culvert before coming to a rest. Cortinas was transported to Swedish American Hospital by Stillman Valley EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Cortinas was cited for No Valid Drivers License, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Driving Too Fast for Conditions, and Unsafe Tires.
At 12:13 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 at Mile Marker 103 for an Equipment Violation. After an investigation Derick Gray, 36 of Joliet was arrested for Driving with No Valid License. Gray was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Illinois Rte. 2 and Townline road for a report of a dark grey Ford, with a Missouri registration, traveling North at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was located and stopped in the 7,000 block of N. Rte 2. The driver of the vehicle, Anthony T. Wiliams, 30, of Madison, Wis., was found to have a suspended drivers' license. Williams was cited for speeding and taken into custody for driving while license suspended. WIlliams was issued an I-Bond at the scene and is due to appear in Ogle County Court on a later date.
Kelly Irvin, 56, of Oregon was arrested for Failure to Appear. Irvin had a bond of $2,666. Irvin recieved a recog for $1,000. Irvin will return to court on 12/31/18 at 9 a.m. Irvin was released from the Ogle County Jail.
Nov. 8
At approximately 12:57 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a vehicle in the 5000 block of North IL Route 26. After investigation, Deputies placed Christopher Joles, 29 of Arena, Wisconsin under arrest for Driving While License Revoked. Joles was also issued a citation for disobeying a Stop Sign. Joles was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
The following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County Warrants:
Nicholas J Cadie, 33 for Criminal Damage to Property. Cadie did not post the $3,000 10 percent bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail with a 03-09-18 1 p.m. court date.
Shannon D Day, 24 of Rock Falls for Failure to Appear with a Full Cash Bond of $757. Day was released on a Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on 12-31-18 at 1 p.m.
John A Hitchcock, 35 of Oregon for Failure to Appear. Hitchcock posted $175 of the $1,829 Full Cash Bond and was released. Hitchcock will appear in court on 11-26-18 at 9 a.m.
Autumn M Nelson, 22 of Rockford for Retail Theft. Nelson posted the $3,000 10 percent bond and will appear in court on 11-30-18 at 9 a.m.

Michelle L Pickerell, 39 of Oregon was arrested for an outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant. Pickerell posted the $275 Full Cash Bond and was released with no further court date needed.
