Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Mary Elmore, 37, of Rochelle for Domestic Battery. Elmore was held at the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond.
Feb. 10
At approximately 11:55 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident at the intersection of Pilgrim Rd. and Cavanaugh Rd. After a brief investigation Deputies arrested Michael Crane, 49, of Burlington, Wisconsin for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Crane was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Feb. 9
At approximately 9:40 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address in Stillman Valley for the report of vehicular hijacking with a weapon. Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a lengthy investigation with the assistance of the Ogle County K9, Illinois State Police, Rockford Police and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office. Pursuant to the investigation, William Silas, 18, of Richton Park IL, was arrested for Vehicular Hijacking, 2 counts of Aggravated Robbery, 2 counts of Aggravated Battery, Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, 2 counts of Aggravated Assualt and Driving While License was Suspended. Silas was confined at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
At 5:42 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address in the 1900 block of North Church Rd. for a Domestic Disturbance. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Craig M. Larson Jr., 23 of Kings, for Disorderly Conduct. Larson was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Feb. 8
At approximately 2 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-39 mile marker 102. After brief investigation, Deputies arrested a Juvenile, 17 of Rockford, for No Valid Driver's License. The juvenile was also issued citations for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Improper Lane Usage. The Juvenile was taken into limited custody and released to a guardian.
Feb. 7
At 6:51 p.m., following a traffic stop at Illinois Rte. 251 and Lake Lida Lane in Rochelle Deputies arrested Jacob R. Albers, 26 of Mendota, for Driving While License Suspended. Albers was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond
At 11:45 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South 7th St. in Rochelle for an equipment violation. After a short investigation, Anthony M. Urrutia, 28 of Sterling, was arrested for Improper Cannabis Container-Passenger. Urrutia was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block on N Meridian Rd. After further investigation, Timothy J Belt, 24, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Timothy was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Timothy was also cited for Speeding and Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
Feb. 6
Patrick Davis, 22, of Rockford was arrested for Failure to Appear arrest warrant. Davis had a bond of $471. Davis did post the bond and was released from the Ogle County jail. Davis does not have to return for court.
Feb. 5
Zachary Peppers, 30, of Rockford was arrested for Driving on Suspended License Warrant. Peppers had a bond of $5,000/10%. Peppers recieved a recog of $5000 and will return to court on 02/21/20 at 1:00 pm
Feb. 3
At 9:36 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of S. Rt. 2 for a traffic violation. After an investigation, Goldie L. Johnson-Kirksy, 26, of Rochelle was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Johnson-Kirksy was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
At approximately 7:50 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 MM110 on a vehicle traveling northbound. After a short investigation, Deputies arrested Brionna S. Bell, 18 of Montgomery, for Driving While License Suspended. Bell was also issued citations for No Registration Light and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bell was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released to correctional staff and held in lieu of bond.
At 5:26 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 19000 block of E. Rt. 64 for a speeding violation. After an investigation, Michael T. Dumas, 36, of Elgin was arrested for Improper container of cannabis-Driver, and issued citations for driving while licesne suspended (petty offense), and speeding. Dumas was transported to the Ogel County jail and held in lieu of bond.
At approximately 7:32 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 19000 block of West Illinois Rt. 72 for a speeding violation. After further investigation Austin Borota, 27, of Lanark, was placed under arrest for Driving while License suspended. Borota was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Feb. 2
At 4:30 a.m., the Ogle County Sheriff's Office responded to a stabbing in the Shangri La Mobile Home Park, 10978 E. Fisher Road, Rochelle. The victim, a 22-year-old male from Rochelle, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Rockford area hospital. He remains in the hospital and his condition is stable. On the afternoon of 2/3/20 Ogle County Sheriff's Detectives obtained an arrest for Francisco Javier Vazquez, 26 of Rochelle. Vazquez is charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery, both Class 3 Felonies and his bond was set at $150,000, Ogle/Lee Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case. The Ogle County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Rochelle Police Department.
Ogle County Sheriff Deputies arrested Dennis Vineyard, 47, of Belvidere for Criminal Trespass to Residence and Violation of Bond Conditions. Vineyard was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle County Jail.
At approximately 12:41am, Ogle County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Division and Oregon St. Polo. for a moving violation. After a brief investigation, Deputies arrests Richelle Marks, 42, of Polo for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Richelle was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Jan. 31
Rochelle PD arrested Kelly McCoy, 35, of Rochelle on a Outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant. McCoy had a bond of $152 full cash. McCoy is being held at the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond. McCoy will appear in court on 2/3/2020 at 1:00pm.
On 01/30/2020 at 11:29 p.m. following a traffic stop on I39 at mile marker 112 Deputies arrested Jason L Dickson, 37, of Loves Park. for Driving While License Suspended. Dickson was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
