At 3:31 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the Paddle Wheel Inn reference to a disturbance. Upon further investigation, Bobby G Tribble, 44 of Rockford, was arrested for unlawful possession of controlled substance. Tribble was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where he remained in lieu of bond.

May 6

The Ogle County Sheriff's Office arrested victor Gonzalez, 56 of Chicago for no valid driver’s license, operating a uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. Gonzalez was arrested by deputies on I-39 after being stopped for speeding. Gonzalez was held in lieu of bond at the Ogle Co. Jail.

Jay Aguilar, 51, of Rochelle was arrested for Failure to Appear. Aguilar had a bond of $721 and went to court. Aguilar recieved a $1,000 recog and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Aguilar will come back to court on 06/24/19 at 9 a.m. 

May 5

At approximately 6:13 p.m., Deputies responded to a single vehicle motorcycle accident in the 17000 block of West Illinois Rt. 52. It was determining that a southbound motorcycle being driven by Mike Elvin, 55 of Ashton, traveled off the west edge of the roadway. The motorcycle then overturned multiple times before coming to rest in the west ditch embankment. Mike Elvin and a passenger on the motorcycle, Carla Elvin, 44 of Ashton, also fell from the motorcycle as it overturned. Mike was transported to KSB Hospital by Polo EMS for treatment of injuries. Carla was also transported to KSB Hospital by Polo EMS where she was then flown by helicopter to Mercy Hospital for treatment of her injuries. After an investigation into the accident, Mike was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Mike was also cited for Improper Lane Usage and Failure to Reduce Speed to avoid an accident. Deputies were assisted at the scene by Polo Fire/EMS, Lanark Police, and the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Nore Hatfield, 54 of Mt. Morris, for Bad Checks. Hatfield posted the $3,000/10 percent  bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Hatfield will appear in court on 05/29/19 at 9 a.m.

Michelle Donoho, 23 of Dixon, for Failure to Appear. Donoho posted the $218 full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with no further court date.

May 4

At approximately 12:31 a.m., Deputies conducted a motorist assist in the 7000 block of E. Rt. 64, where they identified the driver as James Smitham, 79 of Roscoe. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Smitham for Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol. Smitham was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At 7:30 p.m. following a traffic stop for speeding in the 3000 block of South IL Rt. 251, Deputies arrested Charles Webber, 37 of Rochelle, for Driving While License Suspended and No Valid Driver's License. Webber was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

May 3

The following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Nicholas Pillion, 18 of Rochelle, for Failure to Appear and Resisting a Peace Officer. Pillion a bond of $1,500/10 percent and $331 full cash. Pillion will appear in court on 04/06/19 at 1 p.m.

Michael Iozzo, 52 of Byron, for Failure to Appear. Iozzo has a full cash bond of $5,330 and will appear in court on 05/06/19 at 1 p.m.

At 11:23 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 9000 block of N. IL Rt. 26 for a traffic violation. After an investigation, and assistance from the Ogle County K9 unit, Jered Allison, 20 of Freeport, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 30-100 Grams, Unlawful Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Allison was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
