The following people were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:

Ryan Hackbert, 36 of Rockford, for Failure to Appear. Hackbert posted the $150 full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with no further court date.

Michel Ndikubwayo, 19 of Rochelle, for Failure to Appear. Ndikubwayo posted the $275 full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with no further court date.

Travis Adams, 35 of Rochelle, for Failure to Appear. Adams was released from the Ogle County Jail on a $5,000 recognizance bond and will go to court on 07/29/19 at 9 a.m.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue GMC truck traveling south at the 4000 block of North IL Rte. 2. the vehicle then continued to increase its speed in attempt to elude the Deputies. After investigation, Danny Roos, 63 of Oregon, was arrested for Fleeing/Attempt to Elude a Police Officer. Roos was also issued citations for a Non Functional Registration Light and Speeding 15-20 MPH Over the Speed Limit. Roos was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At 9:20 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a Domestic Disturbance at 113 North Main St. in Leaf River. After an investigation Deputies arrested Joseph L. Grove, 69 of Leaf River, for Disorderly Conduct. Grove was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Illinois State Police and the Mt. Morris Police Department.

July 8

At 8:18 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-39 at mile marker 102 for a traffic violation. After an investigation Tyrus Holland, 29 of Rochelle, was arrested for Driving While License Revoked. Holland was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 7 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the 3600 block of North Freeport Rd. in reference to a single vehicle accident. After a short investigation, it was found that a juvenile was traveling northbound on Freeport Rd. and lost control of the vehicle causing it to travel into the eastbound ditch. The juvenile was placed under arrest and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was issued citations for No Valid Driver’s License and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Pines Automotive assisted in removing the vehicle and the Juvenile was later released to a parent.

At approximately 5:26 p.m., Deputies initiated a traffic stop in the 5000 block of South Freeport Rd.  After further investigation Bryan Allen, 56 of Bellevue, Iowa, was placed under arrest for Felony Driving While License Suspended-BAIID Required, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Allen was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Henry Contreras, 57 of Rockford, was arrested for an outstanding Ogle County warrant for Failure to Appear. Contreras was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with a return court dated of 08/26/19 at 9 a.m.

July 7

At approximately 2:10 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of West Mud Creek Rd for a moving violation. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Hunter Diamond, 27 of Byron, for Driving While License Suspended. Hunter was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

July 6

At 12:57 p.m., Deputies responded to a single vehicle motorcycle accident in the 10500 block of North IL. Rte 2. After a brief investigation Deputies identified the driver as Jerry L. Dilday, 68 of Mt. Morris. Dilday was traveling south bound, when at this time he was struck by a falling tree, sending himself and the motorcycle off the west side of the road way. Dilday was then transported to the Swedish American Hospital via Byron EMS, where he was treated for minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation.

At 5:11 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 4100 block of West IL Rte 64 to investigate a minor property damage accident. During the investigation, it was suspected that the offending driver, Kenneth Adams, 58 of Mount Morris, was driving under the influence of alcohol. Adams was arrested for DUI and cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Adams was transported to KSB due issues not related to the accident. Adams was given an IBOND on the charges with a 08/07/19 court date at 9 am in Oregon.

July 5

At approximately 1:48 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Flagg Rd and Chana Rd. After a brief investigation Deputies determined that the vehicle driven by Robin Piper, 63 of Dixon was traveling east bound on Flagg Rd. At this time, the vehicle failed to yield, traveling through the intersection at Chana Rd, where it was struck by a second vehicle traveling north on Chana Rd driven by Edward Travis, 55 of Chana.  Robin was transported to KSB hospital via Ashton EMS for minor injuries.  Edward refused EMS with minor injuries and was released on scene. Robin was issued a citation for failure to yield. The accident remains under investigation.   

At 12:49 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of E. 1st Ave in Rochelle for an Equipment Violation. After an investigation Ethan Horlock, 25 of Sycamore, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Horlock was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

At 9:43 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Illinois Rte 64 at Mulford Road, and after a short investigation Deputies arrested Stacey Fiala, 52 of Kings for driving while license suspended.  Fiala also received citation for no insurance. Fiala was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

July 4

At 7:10 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop for Speeding on I88 at mile marker 75 east bound. After a short investigation Deputies arrested Dante Victum, 23 of Dixon, for Driving While License Suspended.  Victum also received citations for Speeding, No Insurance, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Victum was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

At 12:42 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to an address in the 400 block of Wayne Rd. in Hillcrest for a Domestic Dispute. After an investigation, Paul Perez, 25 of Hillcrest, was arrested for Domestic Battery. Perez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond

At approximately 9:25 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 3,000 block of S. Chana Road.  After investigation, Deputies placed Ryan Harleman, 41 of Stillman Valley under arrest for Driving While License Revoked.  Haleman was additionally issued citations for Improper Lane Usage and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.  Harleman was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. 

At approximately 2:07 p.m. Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 2,000 block of N. River Road.  After investigation Deputies placed Tabitha Vanbuskirk, 24 of Dixon under arrest for Driving While License Suspended.  Vanbuskirk was additionally issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. Vanbuskirk was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. 

July 3

At approximately 11:44 p.m., Deputies responded to a car vs motorcycle accident at the intersection of Illinois Rte 26 and Freeport Rd.  An investigation revealed that a vehicle being driven by James Mumford, 72 of Windsor, was turning left onto Rte 26 from Freeport Rd. at which time it entered the path of a southbound motorcycle being driven by Justin Burton, 34 of Forreston.  Burton was transported to Freeport Memorial Hospital by Forreston EMS and was later flown to Mercy Hospital in Rockford for treatment of injuries. James Mumford and a passenger in the vehicle, Joyce Mumford, 69 also of Windsor were transported to Freeport Memorial Hospital by Polo EMS for treatment of injuries. James Mumford was cited for Failure to Yield.  The accident remains under investigation.

At 8:10 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of S. IL Rte 251 for an Equipment Violation. After an investigation and assistance from the Ogle County K9 Unit, Paul Washington III, 29 of Rockford, was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis 10-30 grams. Washington was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
