OREGON — On Nov. 11 at 11:04 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at North Maple Avenue and West Chicago Avenue in Davis Junction. As a result, Roberto Diaz, 34, of Rockford was arrested for driving while license suspended. Diaz was additionally issued citations for registration expired, suspended registration, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Diaz was released on a notice to appear with a future court date.

On Nov. 11 at 7:47 p.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on North Illinois Route 251 at East Lindenwood Road. As a result, deputies arrested Rasheeda N. Waters, 40, of Rockford for driving on a suspended license. Additionally, Waters was issued citations for operating a vehicle with expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Waters was released on a notice to appear with a future court date.

On Nov. 11 at 12:59 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on East Illinois Route 64 at Mulford Road for a traffic violation. As a result, deputies arrested Benjamin F. Espinoza, 18, of Rockford for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm with no FOID, and possession of ammunition with no FOID. Espinoza was additionally charged with speeding 26-34 miles per hour over, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and possession of cannabis 1-10 grams. Espinoza was transported to the Ogle County Jail and subsequently released on a notice to appear with a future court date.

On Nov. 12 at approximately 4:07 p.m. deputies responded to 15,000 block of West Grove Road in reference to a driving complaint. The offending vehicle was later located, and upon further investigation deputies arrested Ryan Schumacher, 32, of Forreston, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence - alcohol. Schumacher also received citations for illegal parking in a roadway, illegal transportation of alcohol, and uninsured motor vehicle. Schumacher was transported to the Ogle County Jail and released on a notice to appear.

On Nov. 13 at approximately 7:40 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 39 near mile marker 107. After an initial investigation, deputies placed Cecil White Jr., 32, of Rockford, under arrest for driving while license revoked.  White was transported to the Ogle County Jail, where he was released with a Notice to appear in court at a later date.

On Nov. 13 at approximately 11:39 a.m. deputies conducted a traffic stop at Kishwaukee Road and Hales Corner Road. After a brief investigation, deputies arrested Ezell Cooper, 22, of Rockford, for no valid driver's license. Cooper was released on a notice to appear.

On Nov. 13 at approximately 6:27 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Fox Glove Lane, Davis Junction for the report of a physical domestic. After a brief investigation, it was learned the altercation had taken place in the 100 block of Primrose Lane, Davis Junction. Jose Santana, 43, of Davis Junction, was placed under arrest for aggravated domestic battery/strangulation. Santana was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance in front of a judge. The juvenile victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.
