At 9:30 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a hit and run traffic crash that occurred in the 600 block of Webster Street where an unknown vehicle struck a parked 1993 Chevrolet belonging to Jennifer A. Alaniz, 41, Oregon. Anyone having any information regarding this incident, please contact the Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2803.

At 3:28 p.m., Oregon Police issued David A. Newton, 61, Dixon, a citation for operating a vehicle in violation of the tinted front side windows law. This violation occurred in the 100 block of E. Washington Street.

At 2:30 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call that was occurring on a bus located in front of the Oregon Elementary School, resulting in the arrest of Trenton P. Chandler, 18, Amboy, for disorderly conduct. Chandler was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Oct. 12
At 1:26 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Jordan A. Shank, 20, Oregon, for possession of a controlled substance. Shank was also issued citations for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver, and operations a motor vehicle when license suspended. Shank was transported to the Ogle County jail, these violations occurred in the 400 block of Monroe Street.
At 9:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Jeremy J. Hillary, 42, Rockford, a citation for operating a vehicle in violation of the tinted front side windows law. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Gale Street
At 12:15 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 300 block of Jefferson Street involving a 2013 Hyundai driven by Sara J. Waeffler, 29, Dixon, and a 2012 Jeep driven by Shauna M. Fiser, 35, Mt. Morris. Waeffler was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 11:25 p.m., Oregon Police issued Lukas A.H. Hurst, 19, Mt. Morris, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 800 block of W. Washington Street.
2 parking tickets and 10 verbal/written warnings were issued from 10/08/18 through 10/14/18.

At 12:55 a.m., Oregon Police issued Irene Medina, 49, Rockford, a citation for operating a vehicle when registration suspended for non-insurance. This violation occurred in the 200 block of N. 4th Street.
At 8 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Beth A. Schell, 52, Oregon, for driving while license suspended. Schell was also issued a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Schell was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 300 block of Lover’s Lane.
Oct. 21
At 6:52 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Timothy M. Richardson, 38, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for domestic battery. Richardson was transported to the Ogle County jail.
