Oregon Police report 1-17-22

Dec. 6

At 9:07 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 900 block of Madison Street resulting in the arrest of Alyssa N. Ghibellini,28, Oregon, for domestic battery. Ghibellini was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Dec. 9

At 4:47 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Diane L. Harrod, 3, Byron, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving while revoked. Harrod was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 10:23 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Michael R. Guzman, 36, Oregon, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Guzman was also issued citations for improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver. Guzman was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred near the intersection of 5th and Gale Streets.

Dec. 10

At 3:47 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Devon J. Canada, 27, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for aggravated domestic battery. Canada was transported to the Ogle County jail.

 

Dec. 11

At 9:37 p.m., Oregon Police issued James V. Despain, 55, Dixon, a citation for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 4th Street.

3 parking tickets and 11 verbal warnings issued during the week of 12/06/2021 through 12/12/2021.

Dec. 13

At 11:32 p.m., Oregon Police issued Lynette M. Chmelik, age 58, of Aurora, IL, a traffic citation for improper lane usage. This violation occurred in the 500 block of W. Washington Street.

Dec. 15

At 8:33 p.m., Oregon Police issued Lucas A. Sorensen, 20, of Coralville, IA, a traffic citation for speeding, 47 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

Dec. 17,

At 7:07 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kevin A. Kost, 27, of Batavia, IL, a citation for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. 3rd Street.

 

Dec. 18

At 1:04 a.m., Oregon Police issued Luis A. Xique, age 17, Dixon, citations for no valid driver’s license, fleeing to elude police, disobeying a traffic control device, and unlawful concealment of registration. Two male juveniles of Dixon, both age 17; and one male juvenile, age 15, of Dixon, were taken into limited custody for violating the curfew ordinance and subsequently released into a parent or guardian’s custody. These violations occurred beginning at 10th and Adams Streets.

Dec. 19

At 10:18 a.m., Oregon Police issued Debra A. Jordal, 63, Chana, a citation for speeding, 60 mph in a 35 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1300 block of Pines Road.

At 8:45 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 500 block of S. 5th Street resulting in the arrest of Jerry E. Williamson, 51, Oregon, for domestic battery. Williamson was transported to the Ogle County jail.

2 parking tickets and 4 verbal warnings issued during the week of 12/13/2021 through 12/19/2021.

Dec. 20

At 7:27 a.m., Oregon Police issued Marcello Castillo, 30, Mt. Morris, a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 1100 block of S. 2nd Street.

Dec. 23

At 11:49 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance call in the 500 block of S. 5th Street resulting in the arrest of Julian R. Moorehead, 22, DeKalb, for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to a vehicle. Moorehead was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Dec. 24

At 9:10 p.m., Oregon Police issued Vicki L. Williamson, 60, of Sycamore, citations for operating a vehicle when registration is suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 400 block of E. Washington Street.

 

Dec. 25

At 9:28 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Jayden T. Berry, 19, Rockford, on an outstanding Winnebago County warrant on an assault charge. Berry was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Dec. 26

At 7:22 p.m., Oregon Police issued Gregory L. Brown, Jr., 40, Dixon, a citation for speeding, 48mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.
