At 3 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Leo R. Dempewolf, 28, Oregon, for criminal damage to property that had occurred in the 300 block of Lovers Lane on July 11, 2020. Dempewolf was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Aug. 19
At 4:57 p.m., Oregon Police issued Thomas A. O’Neal, 52, Oregon, a complaint/notice to appear for violating the nuisance ordinance re: rubbish. A court date has been assigned.
Aug. 21
At 7:32 p.m., Theresa L. Krueger, 50, Oregon, notified the Oregon Police of her 2017 Jeep being struck by an unknown vehicle within the previous hour, while parked in the Alfano’s parking lot, located at 801 S. 4th Street. If anyone should have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2162.

At 2:29 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Keith A. Howells, 49, on an international warrant out of Great Britain. Howells was transported to the Ogle County jail.
At 9:33 p.m., Oregon Police issued Philip A. Giuffre, 59, Oregon, a citation for speeding, 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 100 block of E. Washington Street.

At 7:34 a.m., Oregon Police issued Jesus M. Rodriguez, 49, of Milan, IL, a citation for speeding, 52 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. Daysville Road.
Aug. 26
At 7:47 p.m., Oregon Police were dispatched to a fight in progress that was occurring in the 100 block of S. 2nd Street. The offender, Alexander L. Pierce, 25, Oregon, had left the scene. Upon locating Pierce, he was taken into custody, charged with battery, and transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 11:24 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kelli J. Scruggs, 39, Oregon, a citation for disobeying a traffic control device. This violation occurred at the intersection of 5th and Monroe Streets.
Aug. 29
At 12:40 a.m., Oregon Police arrested Stacey K. Bielema, 41, Mt. Morris, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Bielema was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 11:30 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Delylah Sensor, 20, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for domestic battery. Sensor was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 3:01 p.m., Oregon Police arrested Chelsie N. Boyer, 29, Oregon, on an outstanding Rockford Police Dept warrant for failure to appear for a possession of controlled substance charge. Boyer was transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 11:13 a.m., Oregon Police investigated a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 200 block of Webster Street involving a 2005 Dodge driven by Catherine Sobecki, 55, Oregon, and a parked 2019 Chevrolet belonging to Garner D. Stevens, Jr., 72, Oregon. Sobecki was issued a citation improper backing.

At 2:28 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of S. 2nd Street resulting in the arrest of Anthony J. Balice, 26, Oregon, for reckless conduct. Balice was transported to the Ogle County jail.
Sept. 3
At 11:08 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 100 block of N. 4th Street involving a 1995 Chevrolet driven by Chris E. Merrill, 69, Oregon, and a 2013 Dodge driven by Eddie B. Sledge, 35, Roscoe. No citations were issued.
At 12:54 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot located at 201 S. 4th Street where a 2019 Jeep driven by Jodi J. Whitacre,50, Oregon, struck a 2005 Dodge driven by Ernest L. Mack, 81, Oregon. No citations were issued.

At 10:41 p.m., Oregon Police took one male juvenile, 15, Oregon, into limited custody as a runaway. The juvenile was released into his parent’s custody.

At 8:40 p.m., Oregon Police issued Katlyn M. Godman, 21, Dixon, a citation for speeding, 42 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of N. 4th Street.

At 2:59 p.m., Oregon Police issued Bennett G. Williams, 50, Rockford, a citation for speeding, 55 mph in a 35 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 1300 block of Pines Road.
