BYRON – Pamela Jean Myatt, age 71, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 at the Generations at Neighbor’s nursing home in Byron. She was born March 1, 1949 in Rockford, the daughter of Elmo and Millie (Robins) Cantwell.
She graduated from Rockford East High School in 1967. Pam worked for many years at Rockford Memorial Hospital. She married Lloyd Myatt in October of 1978 in Rockford. He preceded her in death in 2007. Pam was a member of the Pelly Road Christian Church in Rockford. She loved to go antiquing and go to garage sales. She was also predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her siblings; Ray (Sally) Cantwell of Rockford, Patricia (Gaylen) Bastian of Rockford, Branda Mehlbaum of Rockford, and Danny (Deidria) Cantwell of Rockton, stepson Steven Myatt of Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at the Mouth of Stillman Cemetery near Stillman Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s research hospital in Pamela’s name.
