OREGON – The start of school will be here before you know it. Do you have plans for your Oregon student either before or after school?
The Oregon Park District offers a flexible and affordable before and after school program aligned with the O.E.S calendar to provide childcare and enrichment for your student. The program serves students in grades K-6.
In the morning care program, students may be dropped off by their parents as early at 6:15 a.m. Our qualified staff will serve a light snack and engage with the children either in room games or gym games. The staff will walk the students over to O.E.S for school.
In the afternoon care program, students come over directly following dismissal from school to the Blackhawk Center ET room. Attendance is taken at the entry door by our staff. Students receive a light snack once in the room and check-in on homework status.
After snack, students who have homework are separated and assisted with completing their homework. Students without homework are participating in a planned and prepared activity led by the staff to align with our weekly theme. All students will have an opportunity to do the themed activity if they so choose. The full group then plays a group game either inside or outside to promote camaraderie.
The afternoon session concludes with free time. Parents are welcome to pick up their student anytime in between 3:15-6 p.m. This program has grown over the past few years and safety and the quality continue to be the strong force behind it.
Fees are paid monthly. You may choose from either a payment structure for 1-3 days a week or 4-5 days a week, monthly. You choose your student's days of attendance monthly. Receive 10% off each additional sibling when you enroll your first child at full price. Monthly payments are due by the 25th of each month beginning in August. Auto payment is available and highly recommended!
Cost for the before school program is $68 a month for 4-5 days a week or $40 a month for the 1-3 days a week program. Cost for the after school program is $110 a month for the 4-5 days a week and $70 a month for the 1-3 days a week program.
