OREGON – Join the Oregon Park District for a day trip to Mount Carroll to visit Timberlake Playhouse on July 25.

The Oregon Park District is hosting a day trip for ages 18 and over to see Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

Get your deerstalker cap on, the play’s afoot! Comedic genius Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) transforms Arthur Conon Doyle’s classic, The Hound of the Baskervilles, into a hilarious murder adventure. Sherlock Holmes is on the case, watch as the intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying web of clues, accents, disguises, and deceit. The play will include five actors deftly portraying more than 40 characters. Join the fun and see how far from elementary the truth can be.

Transportation will be provided by the Oregon Park District. Meet at Nash at 12:30 p.m. or pick up your ticket at Nash in advance and drive yourself. The play will start at 2 p.m. and we will be back around 5:30 p.m.

Cost is $25/Residents and $30/Non-Residents. Registration closes on July 11. To register, visit Nash Recreation Center, 304 S. Fifth Street, Oregon, or call 815-723-3101.
