Park District, VOP team up

OREGON – The Oregon Park District and the Village of Progress have teamed up to offer a creative, crafting class for ages Kindergarten through 3rd grade with an adult.

All classes are held on days off school and allows your child to express their creativity and create projects out of recycled materials with consumers and staff from the Village of Progress, Oregon.

All classes will be held at the Village of Progress workshop, 710 S. 13th St., off Pines Road, Oregon.

Kids will be working alongside people with developmental disabilities to create a seasonal project that can be used to decorate your home. Each participant must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us on Friday, Jan. 18 from 12:30-2 p.m. Children will be making a snowman for decorating your porch! Cost is $6/Resident and $7/Non-Resident. Deadline to register is Jan. 11.

Join us in February to make a Valentine picture frame on Feb. 14 from 9:30-11 a.m. Cost for this class is $6/Resident and $7/Non-Resident.

These classes offer a creative, fun experience for both child and adult.
