STILLMAN VALLEY – Patricia A. Brennan, age 81, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2019. She was born Nov. 3, 1937 in Rockford the daughter of Charles and Pauline (Wallace) Martini.

She married James J. Brennan on March 17, 1955. Patricia formerly worked as a beautician and sales clerk at Sears in Rockford. She and her husband James owned and operated the East End Tap in Stillman Valley from 1976 – 1981. James preceded her in death in August of 1982. 

Patricia once again owned and operated the East End Tap from 1986 – 1990. She loved to read and play cards, especially Euchre. Most of all Patricia loved spending time with her kids. 

She was predeceased by her parents, husband James, two brothers; Eugene and Harry Martini, and great grandson Caiden Perrot.  

She is survived by her three children; Deborah (Kenneth) Crooks of Littleton, Colo., Daniel (Shirley) Brennan of Chana, and Diane (David) Wickson of Rochelle. Brother Charles (Karen) Martini, Jr. of Rockton, sister Charlotte (Mark) Willer of Huntsville, Ala., 6 grandchildren; Jason (Jennifer) Crooks, Chris (Michelle) Brennan, Melissa (Josh) Schomer, Nic (Kimberly) Brennan, Rob Perrot, and Trisha Dietrich, and 12 great grandchildren. 

Funeral Service was 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 136 W. Roosevelt Road in Stillman Valley, with the Rev. Richard Rosinski of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Byron officiating. Burial took place at the Calvary Cemetery in Rockford.  Visitation was from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at the funeral home in Stillman Valley.
