OREGON – Patricia A. Mott, 72, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at KSB Hospital, Dixon. She was a resident of Oregon for the past 39 years coming from Lombard. Born March 17, 1949 in Chicago, the daughter of Harold D. and Mary Lois (Schumacher) Murray.

Married to Elwood C. Mott Dec. 18, 1965 in Chicago. While in Lombard, Pat was head librarian at Green Valley Elementary School and a Cub Scout Den Mother in the 1970’s. She was always doing arts and crafts and ran the Farmers’ Market at Oregon’s Autumn on Parade for 15 years. She was also a member of a line dance group and instructed line dance. Pat was an avid Jeff Gordon fan, loved animals and loved her time with her grandchildren. She also spent her healthier years gardening.

Predeceased by her parents; infant daughter, Theresa Ann; sister Julia; and brother-in-law, Glendell.

Survived by her husband, Elwood “Woody” Mott of Oregon; sons, Elwood (Katheryn) Mott, Jr. of Oregon and Joseph D. (Timina) Mott of Cherry Valley; grandchildren, Ashley Hammil, Joshua D. Mott, Jeremy M. Mott and Michael Elwood Mott; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Lee, Declan and Callie (on the way); and many nieces and nephews, including Marna Michalik.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 in Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor David Rogula officiated. Burial in Daysville Cemetery, rural Oregon. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pat’s name may be made to Autumn on Parade.
