Priscilla Ann Rainey of Adeline passed away on Saturday, May 30 after a long illness. Priscilla was born on Feb. 8, 1937 to Dorothea and Roy Wetterstrom in Rockford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Rainey, in 2018.
Priscilla is survived by her four daughters, Debra (Wally) Palmer of South Beloit, Sherry (Daniel) Hammer of West Chicag, Pamela (Darrell) Borgmann of Adeline, and Christine (James) Russell of Mt. Morris, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Priscilla was employed for many years at Quality Metal Finishing in Byron, until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, fishing and camping and had a great love for all her animals. She will be remembered for her “plucky” sense of humor and her boisterous laugh. Priscilla will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses who provided such kind and compassionate care during her final months.
