OREGON – Rose L. Sowa, 94, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Green Oaks. She was born July 4, 1924 in Chicago and was formerly of Naperville, living in Oregon, for the past 30 years.
She was a graduate of Loyola University and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oregon. Rose enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and most of all, she took pride in making a loving home for her family.
Surviving is her daughter, Mary Agre; son, Steven (Cindy) Sowa and 4 grandchildren, Sam, Haley, Max and Jack.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Sowa, her daughter, Joanne Romain and son-in-law, William Agre.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 301 N. 4th Street, Oregon.
