Sprint Triathlon set for July 29

OREGON – The Oregon Park District's annual Sprint Triathlon will be held on Saturday, July 29 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The event features a 300 meter swim, ten mile bike and 5K run. The event is for individuals or teams of 2-3 people.
Sprint triathlon registration is $35 per person or $70 per team (2-3 people). Entry fee includes a dri-fit shirt, awards for top finishers, shower facilities, water on the course and post-race refreshments.

New this year is our super sprint for ages 5 and up. This race wills start at 10 a.m. and will consist of a 50 meter swim, 2.5 mile bike, and a 1-mile run. This race can be completed independently or you can register as a buddy to participate alongside your child. Registration is $25 per participant and $15 per buddy. Participants will receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal and buddies will receive a t-shirt.     
The swim segment is held at Nash Recreation Center indoor pool. Biking and running courses will loop through the community and surrounding areas. Check out our website for bike and run course map for both races this year.
Registration will be accepted through July 26 or the first 200 people but make sure to register by July 12 to be guaranteed a shirt. Results will be posted at www.tri-3events.com. Entry forms are available at Nash Recreation Center or online at www.oregonpark.org or registration is available at www.active.com.
