SVHS’s Gensler qualifies for 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program

Stillman Valley High School student Parker Gensler has qualified to enter the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. Students are chosen based of their test scores from the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). These students have shown outstanding academic potential and are among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants in the nation, who will be recognized as either semifinalists or commended students in the fall.
SVHS Principal Mrs. Leslie Showers stated, “Gensler is an outstanding student who is committed to excellence in his academic pursuit. He demonstrates strong leadership skills and is admired by his peers, faculty, and staff at SVHS.”
In August, Parker will learn if he will move forward in the competition as a semifinalist.
