The Oregon boys bowling team hosted Dakota at Town & Country Lanes, Mt. Morris on Friday, Jan. 5. The Hawks came away with a 3,493-3,314 victory, avenging one of their two previous early-season losses.

The Oregon boys bowling team was in action on Friday, Nov. 24 at Don Carter Lanes, Rockford for the NIBPA Invitational, consisting of NIC-10 and Northern Illinois Bowling Conference schools. In the 13-team field Oregon finished in fifth place with a five-game total of 4,862.
The Stillman Valley High School chess team hosted Freeport and Rock Falls on Dec. 12. The Cardinals defeated the Pretzels 68-0 and the Rockets 57-11 to add two victories to their season resume.
The Stillman Valley High School chess team traveled for the Huntley Red Raider Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Cardinals finished fifth out of 16 schools in the tournament.
So far this season, the Oregon boys bowling team is currently 14-2 in dual matches and have captured two tournaments including the Hawk Invitational and the LaSalle Peru Cavalier Classic.
Oregon High School is excited to announce that one of its exceptional students, junior Ella Dannhorn, has been chosen to represent the United States in the international indoor fast pitch softball tournament, "The Cup." The tournament will be held in the Netherlands from Jan. 10-17, showcasing top-tier high school athletes from around the world.
