MOUNT MORRIS – Anna E. (Zumdahl) Brechters, age 89, died Sept. 5, 2018, at Huntington Place in Janesville, Wis. Anna was born on Feb. 2, 1929, the daughter of William and Marion (Miller) Zumdahl.

She lived most of her life in Mount Morris until moving to Janesville. Anna graduated from Mount Morris High School in 1947. She married Earl Miller. She later married Henry Brechters Nov. 4, 1978, who preceded her in death in 2015. Anna worked at Kable Printing, Mt. Morris Bank, and Kable News until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Church of the Bretheren in Mount Morris. Anna enjoyed cooking, playing cards, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Anna is survived by her daughter Linda (Wendell) Boyer of Janesville, 2 grandchildren Jhesi (Josh) Brand of Madison, Tenn., and Bryan Boyer (Brittany Prosser) of Verona, Wis., 2 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by 1 stepdaughter Lila (Dick) Grap, 3 step grandchildren Rhonda (Pat) Marshall, Lisa (Steve) Pierce, Melinda (John) Conforti, and several step great grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, 4 sisters: Bernice, Hazel, Wilma, Florence, and her brother George.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Mount Morris Church of The Brethren with Rev. Rodney Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Mount Morris. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 from 10 a.m. until service time in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation and Agrace Hospice.
