SHABBONA — The Stillman Valley High School bass fishing team competed in the IHSA Sectional at Shabbona Lake on Friday, May 3. The Cardinals took third out of 12 teams with a final count of 6.9 pounds to qualify for the IHSA State Championships at Carlyle Lake. The team includes head coach Brad Olson, Levi Coppernoll, Andrew Gibbs, Parker Simms and Seath Lawrence Shepard.
