Kade and Kendall Boatman of Byron were both recently selected as FFA State Champions. Kendall won Beef Placement Proficiency as the top student working in a Beef Production Enterprise. And Kade was chosen as the Star in Agriscience, or the "Best of the Best" in all Agriscience Projects. Kendall also placed in the top five in her Star Category. For Kade he ends his high school FFA career with three individual State Championships.
